We have decided on a cover photo for my next book, what do you think?

Anyone that will come to your home, crawl around in your attic and help insulate when it is below freezing is certainly a friend.
That person is Kelly Morrell.

Tom Thomson was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, where he has lived most of his life, surrounded by nature. Tom's interest in the outdoors developed at an early age, inspired by his father who worked as a fishing guide on Lake of the Woods; his love for photography, however, came some years later. In 1982, after he injured his knee while working in construction, Tom picked up a camera for the first time. Six months later, he was hired a staff photographer at the Winnipeg Sun. Since that year, Tom's photographs have appeared in Canadian Geographic, Cottage Life, Saturday Night, Maclean's, Explore, the Toronto Star, Winnipeg Free Press and countless other publications. His published books of photography include Lake of the Woods: a way of life, Northern Exposures: images of northern Ontario, Faces of the Flood and Lake of the Woods. Tom currently works as a co-publisher of Kenora Stuff magazine and continues to photograph Canada's wilderness. He lives in Kenora with his wife, Joelle, and daughters Daryl and Bailey. His son Sean runs the Winnipeg office of Tom Thomson Photography and attends university.
